Ruto takes campaigns to Kiambu as Raila receives defectors from ANC

Raila will be at Chungwa House where he will receive defectors from the ANC party.

Deputy President William Ruto will on Thursday take his presidential campaigns to President Uhuru Kenyatta's backyard of Kiambu county.

During the visit, the DP is expected to make at least eight stopovers to address residents of the county's three constituencies, including Kabete, Limuru and Kikuyu.

Ruto will also commission Mama Ngina Primary school and HGM  Secondary school.

He will address residents of Ùthìrù Gìchagi, Kìnoo, Zambezi, Kiambaa/Mùguga Market, Kabuku Centre, Ngecha Shopping Centre, Wangigi town, and Kikuyu town.

On Wednesday, the DP held a joint rally with his new allies, ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula in Nakuru.

The politicians who will be officially joining the Orange party ahead of the August 8 general election are majorly from Kakamega county.
