Kenya Medical Supplies Authority has earned global recognition by winning the Best Quality Leadership Award 2024 from the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR).
This achievement comes barely two months after its CEO, Dr Andrew Mulwa bagged the African Governance Award, 2024, in Mauritius for his contribution to transforming Kemsa into the most Outstanding Medical Supplies Authority across the African continent.
ESQR has now honoured Kemsa for its exceptional leadership under Mulwa and its Board of Directors.
The authority is also being honoured for its commitment to innovative approaches has led to the development of quality systems, transforming it into a highly efficient provider of Health Products and Technologies.
ESQR awarded Kemsa after it evaluated several companies, institutions, public administrations and organisations representing different economic sectors in Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Australia

Kemsa's CEO Mulwa will accept the award on behalf of Kemsa in Brussels this June.
In February, he won the prestigious African Governance Award 2024.
In a highly contested event featuring participants from across Africa, Kemsa emerged as the “Most Outstanding Medical Supplies Authority across Africa.”
During his acceptance speech at the 2024 African Governance Conference and Gala Award ceremony held in Mauritius on February 8, Mulwa expressed his gratitude to the organizers and highlighted the collective effort of the Kemsa team.
