Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in the Indian Ocean, Mombasa.

The body of the man about 30 years was discovered within the harbour by workers at the port.

The body of the unidentified was half-dressed at the time it was discovered.

Police took the body to Coast General Teaching and referral mortuary awaiting postmortem and identification.

In Githurai Kimbo, Nairobi, police are investigating the discovery of a fetus that was found dumped near a railway line.

The body was tied in a black polythene bag at the time of the discovery, police said adding it was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe.

The mother of the child is yet to be known.
