An official of Kenya National Union of Teachers has urged teachers to promote peace ahead of the general elections. Women representative Dorothy Muthoni said teachers have a duty in guiding locals instead of disseminating ethnic speeches. She made the remarks during an annual general meeting for Narok Teachers held in St Mary’s Boarding Primary School where she was chief guest. She added that teachers are a majority in the society and their views are normally respected by the community.
