Juja MP William Kabogo has warned TNA against falling prey to  machinations by a clique out to rig party nominations. Kabogo said  he was aware that the clique wanted to rig party nominations to shut out popular candidates so that they can assume office through the back door. He said Kiambu residents had already made their decision to support him for the senator seat. He said "the merchants of doom" will be defeated since  the electorate support him.

Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu said voters should be left to determine who will be governors.  He told governor aspirants boasting of academic excellence to seek jobs of CEOs and managers in the private sectors and public sectors where they can table their degrees. Waititu said the governor should b a politician out to serve and protect the interests of  the electorate.
