Returning the favour – SRK owes Hrithik

When Hrithik made a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Don 2 the audience was delight to see the light eyed hero waltz Priyanka Chopra away. It now seems like Shah Rukh Khan will be returning the favour and do a cameo appearance in Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3. Rumour is rife that SRK will don his Ra One gear as G One for the superhero flick for Hrithik. SRK and Hrithik share a close personal friendship too so it’s no wonder that SRK is going the extra mile and taking a keen interest in the Roshans’ home venture by letting the father-son duo of Rakesh and Hrithik use his studio set up to sort out the VFX for the forthcoming movie. This reminds me of how Rajnikanth made a cameo appearance as Cheeti in Ra One from his character in the movie Robot.

A Full Circle for Vinod and Daboo

Vinod Khanna and Randhir Kapoor (Daboo) were last seen on the silver screen together almost 38 years ago in Prakash Mehra’s Haath Ki Safaai and it seems like they will soon be captured on celluloid by Prabhu Deva who is remaking a super hit Tamil film Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana for the Bollywood cinema. Apparently, Daboo and Vinod didn’t seem to have worked too well with each other back then but Prabhu feels it is now time to complete the circle and bring the two veteran actors together.

Both actors have been pretty low key and after a long hiatus we did see Vinod earlier this year in Players and Randhir had a role in Housefull 2. Boredom seems to have overcome both actors who are now ready to come back to the silver screen. It will be interesting to note their chemistry this time around under Prabhu Deva’s direction.

In Bollywood if you’re not churning out hits, the audience has other ways to keep themselves amused with the stars. Fueled by media, fans have always had a keen interest in their favourite stars love lives and Katrina Kaif seems to be the latest victim of the rumour mill. After breaking up with Salman Khan, it has been interesting to note that Katrina seems to always be linked to Ranbir Kapoor and both have vehemently denied these rumours. We all know that there is no smoke without a fire and it will be amusing to find out what Katrina has to say in defense after being seen leaving Ranbir’s flat in Bandra at 2am on a Saturday night. Maybe she’s protesting too much…?
