Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has subtly expressed support for the impeachment of Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi.

He observed that should the MPs proceed to impeach the CS, this would be a good opportunity for President William Ruto to reshuffle his Cabinet.

“By impeaching CS Mithika Linturi, the National Assembly has handed the President the perfect opportunity to reorganise his Cabinet,” he said.

The move, he added, will also demonstrate Ruto's commitment to the fight against corruption, potentially signaling a shift in political alliances and priorities.

Khalwale further extended gratitude to the mover of the impeachment motion, Bumula MP Jack Wamboka.

“Congratulations. Kenya is happy,” he said on X.
