Social commentator Andrew Kibe has urged Second Lady Pastor Dorcas Rigathi to leave the boy-child affairs and instead focus on mentoring young women in the country.
In a video on his social media, Kibe said Pastor Dorcas should use the energy to talk to women.
He said men are better placed to mentor boys stating that a mother should not be allowed to talk to children beyond a certain age.
"Riggy G's wife, a mother should not be allowed to talk to children beyond a certain age because you want to treat them as kids and that is where many blunder," he said.
"You are going to destroy these boys. Before you know it, they will become woiye boys with woiye spirit. Wataanza kuvaa matuta 10 because every time they will be like mama is there to protect them from life. The boy needs to go through hardship and adversity by himself."
Kibe said he however understands Pastor Dorcas' concern but the issue of men is not a women-led initiative.
He said she should visit girls' schools and teach the women how to be like her instead of worrying about the boys.
The social commentator further said the second lady should help create better systems that protect the family.
"Go to schools, talk to girls and teach them how to be wives and mothers. Teach them how to be successful like you. Of late, women are okay with being single mothers. You can handle that and then we will handle the men," Kibe said.
He said the initiative to help men cannot come from the women.
"You are going to different parts of the country trying to keep grown men as kids, trying to pull out the emotions from them," Kibe said mimicking pastor Dorcas' voice.
"I do want us to succeed as a country but that project cannot be hers.(Pastor Dorcas).
