JamboPay, PesaLink partner to grow banking services

Kenyans with JamboPay mobile wallets can now withdraw funds into any bank account in the country following a new deal with Pesalink.

The partnership allows JamboPay business customers to instantly pay suppliers, salaries, and other benefits directly into any bank account in Kenya.

This comes just a month after Jambopay mobile wallet limits were increased from a daily maximum limit of Sh300,000 to Sh500,000 effective August.

With the integration of JamboPay's mobile wallet, its users will be able to receive, hold, and make payments from various sources such as cards, mobile money, other wallets, and banks.

The digital payments company mobile wallet has 1.2 million subscribers that mainly use the platform to pay for government services.

Pesalink is a payment solution that facilitates low-cost bank-to-bank transfers in over 36 banks.

Both JamboPay and Pesalink are regulated by the Central Bank of Kenya.
