Metropol CRB and Postbank Kenya today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Jipange Leo, Jenga Kesho campaign, marking a significant milestone in advancing financial literacy among National Youth Service (NYS) recruits across Kenya.
The MoU, signed by Metropol CRB CEO Gideon Kipyakwai and Postbank Kenya Managing Director, FFCCA, CPA Raphael Lekolool, formalises a partnership focused on equipping young people with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances effectively, build healthy saving habits and access credit responsibly.
Also present were Amos Khangati, Manager for Strategic Partnerships at Postbank Kenya; Catherine Magua, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs; and Sila Ronoh, Head of B2B Commercials at Metropol, who will support the implementation of the initiative.
By combining Postbank Kenya's commitment to financial inclusion with Metropol CRB's expertise in credit education, the partnership aims to empower NYS recruits to make informed financial decisions and secure a stronger financial future.
