Families in the Nyakach Katito area have accused police officers of being behind the fire that burnt their house during the anti-government protest on Wednesday.
The family alleged that the police lobbed tear gas canisters into their houses which caused the fire.

Diana Achieng, from Katito, claimed officers lobbed teargas in their homes during the protests despite her not participating in the demos.
