Operations at Kisumu International Airport remained paralysed on Wednesday morning.

This is after workers at the airport said they are in solidarity with their counterparts at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, their 'mother'.

No operations are going on at the airport currently.

Passengers were left stranded from morning.

This has led to cancellation of flights at the airport.

The workers were protesting within the Airport carrying placards and leaves.

Operations at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) were paralysed on Tuesday night and Wednesday after a section of aviation workers went on a go-slow.

Long queues of stranded travellers characterised the airport after boarding and takeoff were delayed, sparking an outrage.

Many travellers were stranded on Wednesday as others canceled their trips.
