Kabondo Kasipul United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party officials have urged President William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua's camps to end what they termed a public confrontation and instead focus on working for Kenyans.

The officials, led by UDA chairperson Silas Okinyi Rao, asked the President and his deputy to shun persistent personalised attacks on each other.

In a sub-branch meeting held at the party office in Kadongo and attended by several party officials from the constituency on Monday, the members called on the president to steer the country toward achieving the party's manifesto.

Okinyi said Kenyans are faced with a myriad of challenges among them unemployment and tough economic situations that require concerted effort to solve.

“It is prudent enough to steer clear their agenda for development,” the constituency UDA chairperson said.
