[PHOTOS] Ruto presides over St John Ambulance annual inspection parade

President William Ruto on Monday presided over the 93rd annual inspection parade of the St. John Ambulance at the State House, Nairobi.

Speaking during the parade Ruto said that the state is working together with partners to improve emergency medical care.

"We are working closely with partners like the St. John Ambulance to extend our emergency medical care to preventive," Ruto said.

The President said that the government will contribute some money in building a facility for St John for emergency response.

He added that timely diagnosis of illnesses will improve overall health.

"The timely diagnosis of illnesses before complications develop will guarantee quick recovery, improve overall health and reduce health care costs in the country," he said.
