President William Ruto on Monday presided over the inauguration of the Kenya Health Human Resource Advisory Council.

The Council seeks to accelerate the realisation of Universal Health Coverage.

"We are supporting county governments by providing modern equipment to help them deliver high standards of healthcare for all," Ruto said.

Leaders present included Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha, Kirinyaga Governor and Chairperson of the Council of Governor Anne Waiguru among other leaders.
