[PHOTOS] Casual wear dominates as CSs attend Cabinet in Mombasa

With a change of venue, a times comes a change of outfit.

This was the scenario as President William Ruto held his first Cabinet meeting at the State House in Mombasa on Friday.

From 8 am, Cabinet secretaries started arriving with the majority wearing casual clothes, unlike other meetings where they put on official wear.

The rains did not spare them as some CS were seen sharing umbrellas to shield themselves from the light showers.

Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki (Interior) and Simon Chelugui ( SMEs) shared an umbrella just like Justin Mututi ( Attorney General) and Salim Mvurya ( Mining ).

In the photos seen by the Star, only CS Kindiki chose to stick to his suits and tie as the Mvurya donned a Kanzu.

CS Chelugui and his Energy counterpart Davis Chirchir went for a semi-casual outfit, donning a suit and khaki pants.

President Ruto donned his famous kaunda suit which has become a special kind of fashion lately.

This will be Ruto's first such meeting at State House, Mombasa since he became President.

The session in Mombasa marks the administration’s fourth cabinet meeting held outside Nairobi.

The President is currently on a five-day tour of the coastal region.
