President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto on Friday attended the 60th anniversary of the union between mainland Tanzania and the Island of Zanzibar.

The celebrations were held at the Uhuru Stadium, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Kenyan first family was accompanied by among others Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Cabinet Secretaries Rebecca Miano (Investments, Trade and Industry ) and Peninnah Malonza (EAC, Arid and Semi-Arid Lands), among other senior officials.
