May God comfort you! Gachagua condoles with family of Kiambu nominated MCA

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has condoled with the family of Kiambu nominated MCA Ezra Kihara.

Gachagua visited the family's home in Thika, Kiambu.

Kihara died in a road accident on Sunday.

The incident occurred while the lawmaker was travelling from Nairobi to Thika town.

Police said Kabugi died when his car, a Subaru Forester, rammed a lorry from behind.

"At this moment of deep sorrow, we join the family as they mourn and come to terms with the tragic sudden death of Ezra Kihara, Nominated MCA for Kiambu County," Gachagua said on X.

"We commit Kihara's widow and her young family into prayer, that our Lord God comfort at this difficult time."

Gachagua was accompanied by several leaders, including Senators KarungoThangwa, Joe Nyutu, MPs Wamuchomba, James Gakuya, Mejjadonk, George Koimburi, Teresiah Wanjiru, former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, former Laikipia Woman Rep Cate Waruguru, several MCAs among other leaders.

Earlier on, Gachagua mourned the MCA terming him an architect and a pillar of the UDA Party who served with utmost distinction.

"Kihara was a brilliant, prolific and promising young leader, whose focus was serving the People and the Nation," the DP said.

"We have lost a visionary leader, through a road accident."
