EALA nominee Winnie Odinga has accused the United States of America of interfering with the August 9 general elections.

Speaking on Tuesday during an interview with Citizen TV, Winnie said Kenya had become a "play station" for the Americans, likening it to a Virtual Reality game.

"Have you ever worn virtual reality glasses? That is what Kenya is to them. You put it on and you play. Kenya is like a PlayStation to them," she said.

The scion said she could testify on the same in a court of law.

"I'll even show you how," she added.

She said she was devastated to learn that Kenya Kwanza had won the elections.

"All that work, all those hours, all those people that relied on us so that this didn't happen... it's devastating," she said.

"It's difficult to let them down because, for a lot of them, Raila Odinga was hope."

Winnie said she wished she was as aggressive as the description she got from her critics after the poll loss.

She said the only other person that worked as hard on the campaign as she was Raila.

She was defending herself from the claims that she sabotaged the elections by micromanaging the campaign's communication team.

Emphasizing her remarks on Western influence, Winnie said if elected to EALA, she will form a coalition of the willing to resist the interference.

She said the Western has over the years influenced the governance and resources of the continent and overused them to exhaustion.
