Holy Ghost Regina Caeli Catholic Church Parish in Karen was Thursday dedicated and opened for worship following the conclusion of its construction.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, the Regina Caeli Parish Priest, Father Stephen Omondi said that the project involved a lot of sacrifice from leaders and Christians to have it completed.
"According to the Sacred Congregation for the Sacraments and Divine Worship, the rite for the dedication of a Church and the altar is rightly considered among the most solemn liturgical services," he said.
During the ceremony, Archbishop Megan anointed the Church.

The church has three doors, one at the entrance and two on the right and left side of the church to signify the Holy Trinity.
The ceiling is painted sky blue with a dove representing the Holy Spirit at the centre.
There are four stars, two yellow and two blue placed on the roof.
There are 12 pillars inside the church that represents the 12 disciples of Jesus.
Cardinal John Njue, Archbishop of Nairobi Philip Anyolo among other church leaders were present.
