United Democratic Alliance Secretary General Cleophas Malala on Sunday challenged the Orange Democratic Movement boss Raila Odinga to open ODM nomination server if he wants that of the presidential race opened.

Raila has been clamouring for the server used by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in the presidential election to be opened and subjected to forensic analysis.

He claims he won the election with 8.1 million votes against President William Ruto's 6.9 million votes.

Raila says that his victory was snatched and given to Ruto.

"To you Raila, if you want the server to be opened then start by opening that of your party ODM. If there is any party that has persecuted many people during party nominations then it is ODM," Malala claimed.

Malala alleged that the ODM party has been shortchanging people and has made Siaya and other Luo Nyanza counties lose out on the first ten years of devolution.

"You lost your first 10 years of devolution because of failing to elect good leaders. That here in Siaya you cannot be elected if not in ODM. You choose even a mad person because he is in ODM," Malala alleged.

He noted that Luos were at the forefront during the clamour for multiparty democracy but then retreated to single party democracy.

Malala called on Nyanza residents to copy their Western Kenya counterparts who have embraced many parties.

"Sisi kama waluhyia we have placed our eggs in different baskets. Even if Raila were the president, Luhyas would have been in that government."

"People say that we do not have a stand but we know what we are doing, Malala asserted.

He said that Raila is in politics to benefit himself yet some people are following him blindly.
