Ruto to attend interdenominational service in Kajiado

He traveled back to the country on Saturday from France.

President William Ruto is expected to attend an interdenominational prayer service in Kajiado Central. 

Kajiado Woman Rep Leah Sankare announced the event through her Facebook page on Friday.

"Karibu Kajiado County 034 on Sunday 25th June 2023 at Ildamat Stadium," she said. 

The service will be the first event since Ruto landed back to the country on Saturday following a two-day trip in France. 

He left the country on Wednesday. 

On Thursday, he attended a roundtable meeting during the New Global Financial Pact Summit in Paris.

During the discussion, he proposed for the establishment of a new Multilateral Climate Finance Institutional Architecture.

He also spoke on evolving the model of multilateral development banks to address the 21st-century challenge. 

On Friday, Ruto, who has been described as an eloquent orator received applause and admiration while making an address at Champs de Mars, Paris.

While addressing the thousands of youth on Climate Change and Financing, in every sentence the Head of State made, the young scholars clapped and cheered, showing warmth and love. 

He invited them to the Africa Climate Summit which will take place in Nairobi in September 2023.
