Transport was paralysed in Luanda town as protesters took to the streets.

The services were paralysed along the Kisumu-Busia highway.

The protests started at Mwilonje market centre to Esibuye before reversing to Khusikulu, Emuhaya, and Kima.

The protesters said they will go on with the protests until the government lowers the cost of living.

"We are not here to fight the government but we want it to lower the cost of living that is currently bothering Kenyans," they said
