A protester donning a pink towel has once again been spotted in Kisumu anti-government protests, this time he is accompanied by a minor also wearing a towel.

Police were seen engaging the man as he walked holding the minor's hands, the minor he said is his son.

In March, the man wrapped up in a towel and a toothbrush in his mouth and was accompanied by his three-year-old son, who also donned a towel.

The man identified as Victor Erick was seen walking in the streets of Kisumu with his son while holding a banner.

"I usually come out in a towel, even on election day I was like this, this is how I like to dress up. I do not have any worry about bringing my son along to protest because we are peaceful, we are not armed," he said then.

The road leading to Kisumu State Lodge was closed and businesses.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga has maintained that the protests will go on despite pleas to call off the demos.
