Kabogo joins leaders rooting for Ruto-Raila dialogue to end stalemate

Ruto said he was ready to meet and hold discussions with Raila Odinga.

Former Kiambu Governor  William Kabogo has called on President William Ruto and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga to have a dialogue.

In a statement on Tuesday, Kabogo said that dialogue between the two leaders would be the solution to end the indifference.

He explained that the reality today is that we are all interdependent and have to co-exist on this small planet.

"Therefore, the only sensible and intelligent way of resolving differences and clashes of interests, whether between individuals or nations, is through dialogue," Kabogo added.

On Tuesday, President William Ruto said that he was ready to meet and hold discussions with Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

The Head of State said that he was engaged but once back in Kenya, he would be available to meet the opposition leader at his convenience.

“I am off to Tanzania for a human capital meeting to harmonise the expansion of employment opportunities in our continent. Am [sic] back tomorrow evening, and as you have always known, I am available to meet one on one with you anytime at your convenience,” he said.

Ruto’s response came shortly after Odinga said his efforts to dialogue with the government on the high cost of living and audit of the 2022 General Elections have not yielded fruits.
