After keeping a low profile for seven months, Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairperson Wafula Chebukati has resurfaced.
On Sunday, the former IEBC boss shared a photo of himself alongside the father.
In the photo, shared on the X platform, formerly Twitter, 61-year-old Chebukati and the father are seen smiling.
The photo had the caption “Laughter transcends generations.”
During his tenure at IEBC, Chebukati managed to keep details about his family private.
Prior to that, Chebukati was last seen in public on January 24, 2023, when he appeared before Justice Aggrey Muchelule-led tribunal.
After six years of service, Chebukati and two commissioners Boya Molu and Abdi Guliye left on January 17.
He is married to Mary Chebukati, who is now the Chairperson of the Commission on Revenue Allocation.
