President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday praised energy principal secretary Alex Kamau's leadership during his Thanksgiving mass.
The event was held at Irigithathi primary school grounds and was attended by key government officials led by the head of state.
Ruto described PS Kamau as a committed leader who serves with a passion.
The Head of State at the same time said the PS has demonstrated good leadership by shunning tribalism in his service delivery.
Ruto said PS Kamau is a key component of the Kenya Kwanza administration and will always work with the PS in fulfilling his campaign manifestos.
"I'm happy to work with our principal secretary Alex Kamau for one thing, he isn't tribal and he is a dedicated servant," Ruto said.
He urged all leaders to work together for the development of the Country.
Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua also urged the electorates to support Ruto's administration.
He said that the Kenya Kwanza administration is working to reduce the cost of living.
"We are fully behind President Ruto and we will support him to realize the development of the Country," Gachagua noted.
PS Kamau thanked the head of state for granting him the opportunity to serve the people of Kenya.
He noted that he will work with all national and County government leaders to realize development.
"I will traverse the whole of Kenya working with leaders to realize the development and implementation of the Kenya Kwanza administration," he said.
The President was accompanied by a host of elected leaders including his deputy Rigathi Gachagua, some cabinet secretaries, Governors, senators and members of the National Assembly from the region.
