Kenya Power has announced that some areas in six counties will experience power interruptions.
Some areas in Nairobi, Machakos, West Pokot, Trans Nzoia, Kakamega and Kilifi counties will have power interruptions.
Kenya Power said that the interruptions will occur at different times of the day.
In Nairobi, areas including Runda, Mimosa, Two Rivers Mall, Runda Grove, Runda Drive, part of Northern Bypass, Mamlaka Hill Chapel, South C, Bellevue Nairobi South Hospital, DCI Training, Olesereni and Popo road to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Areas in Machakos County to experience interruptions include Mutonguni Road, Kinanie Samara, Kinanie Market, Kimongo, Nzoiani, Nyaani, St. Monica School, Kinanie High School and adjacent areas from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Counties to have interruptions in the North Rift region include West Pokot, Trans Nzoia and Kakamega.
In West Pokot areas including Kacheliba, Alale, Kishaunet, Serewo, Konyao Kodich and Kitalekapel and the adjacent areas from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Soymining, Kapkoi, Katuke, Kabombol areas and adjacent customers in Trans Nzoia to have power interruptions from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Parts of Kakamega include Bukhakunga Market, Lukume Market, Powerspot Factory, Shihome Market, Gotv Station, Mayuge Primary, Mutsuma Primary and Secondary and adjacent customers to experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Areas including Mariango, Mtulu, Shaka Primary, Kabelengani, Chapungu Primary, Bamba Market, Mitsimerini, Bandari, Mtsara Tsasu, Shangweni, Jila Market, Dodosa and Mrima Ndege in Kilifi will have power interruptions from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
