Nigerian singer and songwriter Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems has spoken after days of rumours that she is pregnant.

Some fans on multiple social media platforms couldn't fail to notice what appeared like a baby bump when a video of her at Burberry’s Spring/ Summer 2024 London Fashion Week popped up on the socials.

The London Fashion Week kicked off on Friday, September 15 in the glow of a sweltering UK heatwave, and concluded on Tuesday.

Donned in a flowing purple fluffy coat on top of a tight black boobtop, Tems took a walk around to acknowledge her fans as one of her songs 'Wait for u' played in the background.

She momentarily clutched the fluffy coat at the navel as if to cover her tummy which appeared unusually bigger before she turned her back to the camera.

The pregnancy gossip came after weeks of rumours that the Nigerian siren and US rapper, Future, were seeing each other.

Tems, however, laughed it off in a post on X Friday afternoon saying, "In conclusion, you people are all mad!"

The short message was a caption to her photo which some equally noticed looked a bit larger than usual.

"Your nose is swollen, the baby is coming," a user said.

Tems and Future collaborated on the hit single 'Wait for u' in 2022, in which they also featured Drake.

The song propelled her to mega stardom and earned her awards. It opened the door for other major collaborations.

The Afrobeats singer was scheduled to perform in Kenya at the 'Tukutane Festival' on October 15, 2022, at the Karen Waterfront but she cancelled the show.

She called off the show nine days before the concert saying it was due to unavoidable circumstances.

"Honestly, it’s quite heartbreaking to say this but I will not be able to perform at the Tukutane Festival due to circumstances beyond my control,” she wrote on Twitter, now called X.

Her fans were disappointed but she assured them saying, "I am as disappointed as you all are but I look forward to coming and giving you a show that you deserve."
