Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has insisted that the ongoing National Dialogue will not benefit Kenyans if the Kenya Kwanza side won't be sincere.

Speaking on Sunday, Karua said the success of the talks are dependent on the goodwill of the government's side.

"Without sincerity, dialogue will not bear any fruit...Be sincere. We know that the only people that can sabotage the talks is your team," she said.

Karua was among Azimio leaders who attended an interdenominational prayer service in Kajiado on Sunday.

According to the Narc Kenya leader, she has been part of two National Dialogue teams before, one under the former President Daniel Moi and another under former President Mwai Kibaki.

Karua said one took only two weeks and the other only four weeks, but the current dialogue had taken over 90 days and they have asked for more days.

She noted that the previous talks succeeded because the governments of the day were willing to compromise and they came to the negotiating tables with sincere hearts.

"Hii Mazungumzo ya National Dialogue imemaliza 90 days sababu ilianza August (These national dialogue has been on for 90 days, they started in August). Dialogue will not end without sincerity of the Kenya Kwanza regime."

Karua cautioned Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka who is leading the Azimio side in the talks to be cautions of the people they are dealing with.

"I know my brothers, Kalonzo, Wamalwa, Wandayi and the rest are doing well but my brothers, don't you dare forget you are dealing with a sly fox."

The Narc Kenya leader said should the talks fail, she is very ready to return to the streets to defend the people of Kenya.

"My brother Kalonzo, I'm not saying I will not go to the streets. If it becomes necessary I will."

This was after Kalonzo said he will not allow Raila to lead street protests again affirming that it's about time Kenyans did that themselves.

"Msiwe mnangojea sisi tu. I will not allow Raila arudi kwa maandamano. Let the country do it. Si Raila kila wakati na Kalonzo wanapigwa teargas," the Wiper leader said.

"You should not only wait for us to act. I will not allow Raila to return to the demonstrations. Let the country do it, not Raila and Kalonzo getting teargassed every other time.)

Karua insisted that the cost of living and electoral injustice issues must be addressed in the talks.
