All is set for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations that are set to start today.

The Kenya National Examinations Council announced that Form 4 candidates will sit for their national exams from October 23 to November 24.

Students from today October 23-27, will sit for French (oral), German (oral), Arabic (oral), Kenya sign language ( practical singing skills) and music (practicals)

KDF troops feted with service medals in DRC

The Kenya Signals Company troops completed a one-year tour of duty where they have been providing Communication, Connectivity and Technological Services to the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO).

The team was feted with well-deserved service medals recognizing their exceptional commitment and dedication during their tour of duty at the MONUSCO Force Headquarters in Goma, DRC.

The legal team representing Brian Mwenda will this morning argue his bail application.

Mwenda was detained at the Industrial Area remand after being charged with impersonating a High Court advocate.

The prosecution and the Law Society of Kenya had opposed his release on bail.

UN says second aid convoy enters Gaza

Martin Griffiths, the UN's humanitarian chief, has announced the arrival of 14 more trucks carrying humanitarian aid into Gaza.

He said it was "another small glimmer of hope" for Palestinians, but warned they still need "more, much more".

The charity Oxfam welcomed the move, as well as yesterday's first load of aid, but said sending "a few trucks a day is simply not sufficient".
