Anti-corruption court will on Friday deliver judgment in a case where former NHIF chief executive Richard Kerich is charged with conspiracy to defraud the fund of Sh116.9 million.
Kerich was charged alongside NHIF assistant manager David Chingi, Marwa Fadhili Chacha, Toddy Mohadana, Anthony Kalathir Chako and Clinic Healthcare in 2015.
However, the trial court set Clinix Healthcare CEO Mahadhana and director Chacko free in a brief ruling that found Kerich and the other accused persons with a case to answer.
The former NHIF officials are accused of entering a deal with a firm identified as Meridian when they were aware the medical facility could not provide such services.
