Kenya Power has announced power outages in seven counties on Saturday.
The Power company said the interruptions will occur at various times of the day in different counties.
The counties to be affected by power interruptions include Nairobi, Trans Nzoia, Kisumu, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Meru and Kiambu counties.
Parts of Nairobi to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Ruai S/Centre, Ruai Police Station, Ruai DC's Offices, Githunguri Est, Mwamba East, Block 10 Est, Makongeni East, Stage 26, Twinbird Est, Kipawa East, Made in the Street East, Kingoris East, Kamulu Town, Reflector East, Patnet Steel, Brookshine School, Ngundu and adjacent customers.
Kapkoi, Mois Bridge, Natwana, Nafaka, Exgallan, Tenai, Makunga, Nzoia, Matunda, Machine, Kona Mbaya and Muluri in Trans Nzoia will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Other areas in Trans Nzoia include Brigidia, Tongaren Manyasa, Makonge, Naitiri, Narati Girls, Soysambu, Bishop Waphukala Spur, Kewa, Billa Naciada and adjacent customers.
In Kisumu, areas including Masogo, Nyakoko, Amilo, Kasongo, Onyalo Biro, Kasongo, Ombeyi, Ruutek, Kango, Kambara, Chemursoi, Kabar, Kadongo, Kolal, Keyo, Wagogni and Ramula will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Githungungu Market, Mutwe Wathi C/Fact and adjacent customers in Nyeri County will have power interruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Parts of Kirinyaga County to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Githure Market, Gatitu T/Fact, Kiamugumo Secondary School, KCC Ngariama, Kamwana Market, Kavingara C/Fact and Kiambatha Polytechnic.
Felician Sisters, Njagi Rurima Farm, Muthatari Village, Rupingazi Inn, Embu KPLC Stores, Kaunyu Village, Safaricom Rupingazi and Muthatari Catholic in Meru will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
In Kiambu, areas to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Redhill, Zerenity, Mulango Farm, Wet Farm, Thingati, Sovereign Suits, Munyaka, St. Julian's, Potatoes Research, Rurigi Farm, The Retreat, Terasol Farm, Eva's Garden and Limuru International.
Other areas in Kiambu to have power interruptions include Nyaga, Miguta, Kanjai, Ndathini, Kiambururu, Miirano, Kamuchege Sec, Gakoe, Ndireti, Miguta Mission, Kiairia, Sawmill and adjacent customers from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
