The Thika Grove Football Bonanza brought together sports aficionados and prospective investors for an exhilarating day full of sporting activities.

Hosted during the Easter holiday, the event fostered sportsmanship and ignited interest in housing investment among the younger demographic.

The event was organised by Finsco Africa in partnership with Thika Grove.

"Today is not just about sports; it's about shaping our future through investment," remarked Finsco Africa CEO John Mwaura.

Attendees were treated to an array of entertainment options, including live performances by acclaimed musicians such as Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh and Sammy K.

They were complemented by the comedic brilliance of Teacher Wanjiku.

Emcees Kihejo and Njoki wa Mburu from Gukena FM ensured the energy remained infectious throughout the proceedings.

The ambience was electric as twelve teams engaged in spirited competition during the 7-a-side football tournament.

In the men's category, NBK General and Kenya Nuts emerged as finalists, while FINSCO A clinched victory in the women's division.

Beyond football, participants also battled it out in volleyball, badminton, and tag of war, adding diversity to the day's activities.

In the Men’s Volleyball, the National Bank of Kenya (NBK) emerged as winner followed by Wanjohi Muli Advocates in the 1st runners-up and Kenya Nuts in the 2nd runners-up.

In their women’s counterparts, NBK were again winners, with FINSCO Executives as 1st runners up and FINSCO Team completing the 2nd runners up position.

All the winners pocketed Sh100, 000 with both 1st runners up and 2nd runners up each got Sh50,000. 

As dusk descended, spectators gathered around large screens to witness the Premier League showdown between Arsenal and Manchester City, courtesy of Finsco Africa.

The event not only provided an avenue for sports enthusiasts to indulge their passion but also served as a platform for potential investors to explore housing opportunities and engage with industry stakeholders.

In his concluding statement, CEO John Mwaura reiterated the importance of investing in housing for long-term financial security.


"The youth have shown tremendous enthusiasm and talent today, and it's essential that we channel this energy towards securing their future," Mwaura emphasized.

"Investing in housing is not just about owning property; it's about building a foundation for financial stability and prosperity."

Several stakeholders within the housing and construction ecosystem were on site including the National Bank of Kenya – the financial partner of Finsco Africa real estate, different Saccos, lawyers, and architects all under one roof brought together by Football Bonanza.
