Kenya Power has announced scheduled power outages in three counties on Saturday.
The utility company said the planned power interruptions will take place at diverse times between 9am and 5pm.
Areas to be affedted are within Nakuru, Uasin Gishu and Siaya counties.
"Good evening our esteemed customers, the following areas are scheduled for power interruption tomorrow, June 22, 2024)," Kenya Power said in a public notice.
It said parts of Nakuru will experience the power interruption.
They include the whole of Gilgil Town, Kenyatta Barracks, NYS, ASTU, Ndume LTD, GTI, Langalanga, Ngomongo, Millimani and Diatomite.
In Uasin Gishu county, areas to be affected include Sinendet Centre, Sakam Quarry, Lower Kipkaren Centre, Upper Kipkaren, Nyengeilel Secondary School, Nyengeilel Centre and Murugusi Dispensary.
Others are Murugusi Primary, Murugusi Centre, Musembe Market, Chepsaita, Magut Center, Ngayu Centre, Psorungai, Lumakanda Centre, Lumakanda Secondary School and Lumakanda Hospital.
In Siaya county, areas to experience the power interruption are Sagam, Midhine, Lihanda, Sinaga, Rawa ACK Church, Gongo Health Centre, Olengo, Migosi Primary School and Sagam Community Hospital.
Kenya Power initiates periodic planned electricity supply interuptions to facilitate the upgrading of its powerline systems.
