Mary Moraa: I am ready for Paris Olympics 2024

World Champion in the women's 800m Mary Moraa will be one of the red-hot favorites to win the Gold Medal in the race during this year's Paris Olympics in France.

Moraa who has risen from the youth championship held in Kenya, will be taking part in her second Olympic Games after she was eliminated in the semi-finals during the Tokyo Games.

However, she has since established herself, winning Bronze at the 2022 World Athletics Championship in Oregon before eventually rising to Glory during last year's games in Budapest.

Moraa has been stepping up her training alongside her compatriots at the Nyayo Stadium and she is confident she is ready to conquer Olympic games.

"I can say I am ready to go to Paris, I am ready for the competition, I have been training for the last three years telling myself the Olympic games are coming up in 2024 and finally we are almost there, my biggest target is to win Gold Medal," she said.
