Two suspects linked to impersonation will today be arraigned at the Kitui law courts where police will be seeking to detain them for more days pending the conclusion of investigations.

The two were Friday arrested alongside three others for allegedly posing as EACC officers and apprehending a senior county revenue official.

The suspects allegedly staged a fake arrest of Kitui revenue director Roseline Kavata.

Police said they will be seeking to detain the suspects via a miscellaneous application.

Elsewhere, former Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia midfielder Collins Okoth alias Gatuso is expected to be charged with murder in a Nairobi court today.

Okoth was arrested in April and detained at the Pangani police station following the tragic death of a three-year-old girl whose body was found dumped behind their apartment.

The girl lived with her mother on the ground floor.

And self-styled businessman Joseph Waswa is expected back in court today for the mention of a case in which he's facing charges of fraudulent gold trade.

Waswa is the main suspect in the fake gold scam worth Sh1 billion.

He's also facing charges of forging bank notes amounting to Sh94 million.
