Ruto sacks four KCC board members, makes new appointments

The appointment of new board members takes effect Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

President William Ruto has sent home four board members of the New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited and replaced them with immediate effect.

In a Gazette Notice dated Monday, August 5, 2024, Ruto announced the appointment of  Noah Ndemo Nyachae, Rawlynce Bett, Naisula Keko and Sarah Keino to the board.

"The appointments of Geoffrey Noah Angwenyi, David Kipkurui Samoei, Rukia Rashid and Elisha Biwot are revoked," the President said.

According to a Gazette Notice, their appointment takes effect from Tuesday, August 6, 2024, to March 9, 2026.

The sacked members were appointed on March 10, 2023, and were set to hold the positions until March 2026.
