Areas to go without electricity on Sunday

Several parts of the country will go without power on Sunday.

This is after Kenya Power announced it will be conducting routine power maintenance in the listed areas.

The three counties that will be affected include Nairobi, Kisumu and Kilifi.

The power interruption is scheduled to take place between 8 am and 5 pm.

The schedule by Kenya Power shows areas of Lunga Lunga Road and Babadogo will be affected.

Customers in Nairobi to be affected include pembe flour mills, Lake oil petrol station, packaging Ltd industrial area, Auto springs, Bierdorf East Africa, techno plants and adjacent areas.

In Babadogo, the interruption will affect Chandaria Industries, Babadogo Primary, Premier Industries, steel & Alloy, Kenafric Industries, Regal Pharmaceuticals, Jubilee Tissue, Kenya Seed and adjacent customers.

In Kisumu, customers to be affected include Breweries, Mombasa mail millers, Kenya Pipeline, Coca-Cola, Sea Food, Swan, Brookside, MRM, NITA, Public works, Golf Club, NTSA, Fisheries, Usoma, Bandari, United and other adjacent customers.

In Kilifi, parts of Mtwapa, Kanamai, Kikambala and Vipingo will be affected.

They include Sun n Sand Beach Hotel, Fairdeal park, Kikambala catholic, Blue Sky, Kirkland, Miembe Saba, Muudzini Primary, Bodoni Stage, Bodoi Primary, Salwa Kenya, Bodoi Village, Northcoast Beach Hotel, Salama Beach and Mtwapa Primary.

Others are Vipingo filling station, Madina, Revital EPZ, Vipingo industries, Safe Pack, Shariani town, Tiger packaging, Kitchen King, Baharini primary and adjacent customers.
