Several parts of the country will go without power for the better part of the day on Wednesday, Kenya Power has announced.
The power company said the interruption is to allow for network maintenance.
The power interruption is scheduled to take place between 8 am and 5 pm in parts of six counties.
Parts of Nairobi, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nyeri, Kwale, Embu and Homa Bay.
Nairobi
Areas will experience power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Malibu Court Madaraka, Kasneb Towers, Geomaps, part of Kenyatta Hospital, KEMRI Kenyatta, Kenyatta Hospital Staff Quarters, Madina Centre Mosque, Mbaruk Road, Kanjaro Road, Mosiro Road, Sunview East, Golf Course East, Ngumo East, Kibera AMREF, Silanga and Lini Saba.
Elgeyo Marakwet
Areas will be affected from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Katalel Market, Chebonet Secondary School, Kimuchi Safaricom Tower, Salaba Academy, Kipsoen TVC, Sergoit Secondary School, Sergoit Market, Kiplus Market and Chepkitony Primary.
Homa Bay
Areas in the county will be affected from 9 am to 4 pm.
They are Samanga, Nyangweso, Kadel, Kandiege, Kanyamfwa, Kodula, Kajimo, Kanyamfwa, Oriwo, Olare, Janairo, Kobila, Adhiro, Lieta, Kamwala, Nyangau, Ajigo, Gogo, Masogo, Ouru, Raluowa and adjacent customers.
Embu
Parts of Embu will be affected from 9 am to 4 pm.
They include Machanga, Ngungu, Ngiori Iriamurai, Kathuri, Karuki, Tenrimakima, Ngecha, Airtel Ngiori, Mbondoni, Mwanyani Mulukusi, Mwanjo, Ndune, Iriamurai Mission, Jaganath, Kianjiru Ridge, Thiba Farm and Mashamba.
Nyeri
Parts of Nyeri to experience power interruption from 8am to 5pm are Gatondo Market, Gatondo Secondary School, Muthuthi-Ini TBC, Kiawaiguru TBC, Mutito TBC, Kariki TBC, Gitema-Ini TBC, Itundu Market, Kiarage TBC, Kangiri TBC and Gachuguina TBC.
Other areas in Nyeri will have power interruption from 9am to 5pm.
They include Milimani Primary, Milimani Dairy, Karichen, Baraka East, Breadgate, Njumbi Farmlusoi Resort, Kings Medical, Kinwara Holdings, Gatuamba, Simba Fresh, Aguthi Pri, Msafiri and Lusoi.
Kwale
Parts of Kwale to experience power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm are Mshiu, Mwangwei, Majoreni, Mrima, Vanga, Horohoro, and Mwangulu.
