Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti was over the moon after her daughter, Alika Aduwole, aced her A-level exams.
Alika was among 22 students who graduated at the top of their class in the BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma at Brookhouse Schools.
BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma is equivalent to three A-levels.
Alika scored three straight distinctions in Business alongside 11 other students, replicating her brother Daniel Aduwole's achievement who attained a similar grade in 2022.
Three other students achieved a similar feat in Art and Design, two in Sports and one in Music.
“Hearty congratulations, my dear daughter - Alika Oduwole on achieving triple distinctions in your just concluded examinations. I wish you God's blessings, protection, and wisdom as you continue to pursue your dreams,” Ndeti said on X.
She accompanied her message with a newspaper cutting of a local daily that carried the faces and grades of the top students with a congratulatory message from the school.
“Brookhouse congratulates our top BTEC achievers in the graduating Class of 2024. The BTEC Extended Diploma is a two-year vocational sixth-form course, equivalent to three A-level subjects, ideal for students with defined career pathways,” the message reads.
