KPLC: Areas in 5 counties to experience power cuts on Thursday

The power interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day, from 9 am to 5 pm.

Kenya Power has listed areas in five counties that will experience power interruption on Thursday.

The power company said the areas to be affected are within Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Meru, and Murang'a counties.

The power interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day, from 9 am to 5 pm.

In Nakuru, areas to experience power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm include the whole of Olrongai Centre, Gitau Centre, Olrongai Raymond, Komen, Duka Moja, Redwing, Tulwobmoi, Agrico Potatoes, and Marigo B.

Parts of Pipeline and Wanyama that will face power cuts from 9 am to 3 pm are Stem Hotel, Kenya Pipe Line, West Build, Joddies, Ken Chick, Lake Nakuru Lodge, Shimo Mbili, Delamere, and Kwa Mwariki.

Parts of Uasin Gishu to experience power interruptions from 10 am to 4 pm are Chepkongi Primary School and Lower Sosiani, while Chemaluk, Sego Girls and Konda will also face power cuts from 10 am to 5 pm.

Areas in Elgeyo Marakwet to experience power interruption from 10 am to 5 pm are Chebororwa, Duka Moja, Koitugum, Kaptiony, and Kokwet.

Mafuko Bakery, Gulf Petrol Station, Kagaa, Runogone, Chugu, KEMU University, Fred's Academy, Kithoka, Ripples, Runogone, and Chugu in Meru will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.

Parts of Murang'a to experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm include Kamukombini Motel, Kiarutara, Wanyaga, Gaturi, Mwago, Gateiguru, Kiganjo, Gatura, Mugumoini, Gatura Mkt, Gatura Secondary, Mwago Secondary, and Kiroche.

At the same time, areas including New Wood East, JKUAT University, Kalimoni Secondary, Kalimoni Hospital, Juja Modern Hospital, Theta Hotel, Star of Hope East, Kwa Woria, Bristar Girls School, Faith East, Gate C, St. Peters School, Parts of Gachororo, Juja Police Station, Elmark East, Juja Main Stage, Green Field East, Juja Sewage, Juja South, Kanini Farm East, Kenyatta Road, Turraco Village, and Superhighway East in Murang'a will have power cuts.

Other areas in Murang'a to experience power disruption from 9 am to 5 pm are Sasini EPZ, Cianda Farm, Ndumberi, Ngemwa, Ngaita, Riabai, Migaa, Kenton, Marion School, St. Anne's Lioki, Karia, Wimsy, Todas, Migaa Golf, Mugumo, St. Joseph the Worker, Gitamayu, Tinganga S/Centre, Digro Investment, and Fairview East.

At the same time, areas including Limuru Town, Karanjee, Kwambera, Ngenia, Thigio, Gitutha, Nguirubi, and Ndioni in Murang'a will experience power interruptions.
