Police investigate four cases of missing persons

The missing persons are all females aged between 17 years old and 25 years old.

Police officers are currently investigating five separate cases of missing persons across the country.

In Mathira West, Kiamaina village, police are probing a case where an 18-year-old girl went missing on September 8.

Rageal Wamuyu Wachira, a Form One student at Ragati Secondary School, is said to have left home for church.

Police said her mother, who made the report, said she has not returned home since and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Where else in Kajiado County at Kitengela, police are also on the run to find 17-year-old Monica Wanjiru.

According to police, Wanjiru left home on August 27, at around 10 am and since then, her whereabouts remain unknown.

Efforts to trace her have proven futile, police said.

Police officers are also investigating a missing case in Kerugoya of Betty Edah Muriuki.

The 17-year-old Form Four student went missing on September 15, at around 7 pm with the house phone which is currently off.

Police said efforts to trace her bore no fruits.

Also in Kerugoya, police are looking for Faith Waithira Kabuchi,25, who went missing on August 31, at around 6:300am.

Police said Kabuchi, a casual labourer at Kerugoya Referral Hospital went missing when she left their home in the Kiangai area heading to her working place.

She however never reported to work and her phone number is still on but all calls go unanswered, police added.
