    Kenya's inflation rate was 4.5 per cent in September 2025 and 4.6 per cent in October, staying below the central bank's 5 per cent target.

    Key drivers include the food and non-alcoholic beverages category, which saw its index climb.

    However, some prices for goods like petrol saw slight monthly decreases in August 2025.

    The annual inflation rate in Kenya eased to 4.5 per cent in November from 4.6 per cent in October.

    Other transport costs, such as country bus fare, rose.
