Diamond Platnumz is on the mend after being hospitalized on Christmas day.

The singer took to Instagram to let people know he is okay after sharing a video of himself being in a hospital bed.

He thanked his fans for their incredible get-well wishes.

"I thank you all for your prayers, your calls and messages have comforted me in these days of my pain. I was not blessed to have a good X-Mass this year."

Due to unseen medical complications, and postponements he was not able to hold his shows.

He sent his apologies for being unable to rock the stage in a show planned for Rwanda on December 23 and there is no word yet if he is working on planning another makeup concert there.

He had to cancel some shows that were leading up to Christmas but assured fans that his New Years' Eve show in Zanzibar is still on.

In fact, the tickets for the concert are sold out.

"But I thank the Almighty God for blessing me to continue well and today giving me the strength to go back to my practice for my show of CHEERS 2023 on 31st December at @ramadaresortdar Sorry for the delay in announcing the prices and official stations of tickets. I thank all of you who have been asking for tickets all the time. To me this is great love, at exactly 10 today I will announce the entrance and the official stations of selling tickets. My fan, you will like to attend, strive to come and buy as soon as I announce because the need is great and this show will not be live on TV 🙏🏼 @Wasafitv @Wasafifm #Cheers2023."

The medical emergency saw Diamond lying in a hospital bed writhing in pain as doctors drew bled from him.

The WCB boss has not disclosed what he is suffering from.
