A woman who allegedly bit another woman’s lips for allegedly trying to fetch water on behalf of another woman, has been charged with grievous harm.

LA was charged before Kibera senior principal magistrate Samson Temu where she denied the charges.

The court heard that the accused person assaulted MO on March 18 in Kawangware 46 area.

The two had disagreed at a water fetching point leading to the commotions.

She denied the charges and pleaded for lenient bond terms.

The prosecution did not object to her release on bond but urged the court to grant her tough bond terms on the ground that the complainant got some permanent injuries.

The magistrate directed that the prosecution supply the accused person with all the witness statements and documentary evidence that it intended to rely on during the entire trial.

The court also released her on Sh50,000 cash bail and directed that the matter be mentioned on June 8 for pre-trials and further directions.
