CIC appoints Lydia Cherono as non-executive director

The CIC Insurance Group has appointed Lydia Cherono Rono as a non-executive director.

Cherono is currently the director of operations at the Co-operative Bank of Kenya.

In a statement CIC Group said Cherono has a wealth of experience in Business Management and Finance, having worked for over 30 years in the private sector.

She holds a Masters of Business Administration Finance Option in Economics from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Commerce (Double Major in Accounts and Business Administration) from Daystar University.

"The Board takes this opportunity to congratulate Cherono on her appointment to the Board of CIC Insurance Group," CIC said.
