"Omollo has brought objectivity to the office and restored professionalism, dignity, and hope,'' Gachagua said.

On Monday, Gachagua hosted the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Assistant Secretary-General and Director Regional Bureau for Africa Ahunna Eziakonwa-Onochie, who paid him a courtesy call at his Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi.

"We appreciate their support for the upcoming major events, including the Africa Climate Summit and YouthConnekt Africa Summit, to be held in Nairobi soon," he said.

On the same day, Gachagua chaired a Cabinet Committee which he said discussed the progress of the implementation of the Kenya Kwanza Administration Plan and other cross-cutting matters.

On Wednesday, Gachagua was with Ruto in Narok county where the president opened Olesharo Girls Secondary School at Narok East Sub-county, Narok County.

"Education is an equalizer. It bridges the gap between the rich and the poor besides diminishing inequalities," he said.

The DP disclosed that the institution will enhance access to quality education for the girl-child from the Maasai community and beyond.

On that day, Gachagua joined Ruto for the commissioning of the multi-billion-shilling Kimugu Water Project at Ainamoi Constituency, in Kericho County.

The Project which will benefit more than 200,000 households in the region, is in line with our agenda of enhancing access and provision of clean water across the country.

On Thursday, Gachagua was in Meru County for a development tour alongside President Ruto.

During the tour, Ruto commissioned the Ruiru-Isiolo Road and issued land ownership documents at Tutua, in Buuri Constituency.

"Our focus is to fulfil the promise we made to the people of Kenya,'' Gachagua said.

During the event, Gachagua confessed that he is usually shy around many girls.

"I'm in a situation where am not able to say much. You know I'm a truthful person and the truth of the matter is that I'm very shy to face so many girls," Gachagua said.
