Kenyan Boy Band Sauti Sol announced that they will have two different shows in Nairobi.
The band which has been on a final tour in the US, Europe and Canada to celebrate their remarkable journey said the Sol Fest concert will be in November.
The banner, which was uploaded advertised a ‘VIP’ show on November 2 and a ‘fans’ show on November 4.
“Curtain call, see you at Sol Fest 2023,” the caption read.
The announcement, however, elicited mixed reactions from the fans.
Other fans expressed fears that the 'Fan Show' might probably be a watered-down version of the 'VIP Show' with a much less enthusiastic performance.

Other fans said the concert poster had split attendees between ‘VIPs’ and ‘Fans’ asking what the difference between the two classes was.
Last year the band was forced to apologise during their annual Sol Fest following public uproar over their short-lived performance during the 2022 second edition.
The concert took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on the evening of December 17.
Concertgoers expressed their disappointment online, lamenting that the quartet, being the night’s main act, mismanaged their time on stage.
Efforts to reach the band and get their side of the story on the public's concerns or why they decided to have two different shows were futile.
The Star also reached out to Bien but there was no response.

So what's the VIP experience if there are no regulars?
