President William Ruto is today (Sunday) making a return to Kisii county barely a month after his tour to the region.

Ruto will be Nyaribari Chache for an interdenominational church service.

The service will be held at Nyanturago Stadium. It will be his third visit to the county since he took to power.

He has previously been to South Mugirango and Nyaribari Masaba on a development tour.

Area MP Zaheer Jhanda and National Assembly majority whip Sylvanus Osoro among other leaders from the county held a meeting yesterday that brought together religious leaders from various denominations to plan for the meeting.

On March 24 this year, Ruto was in Kisii where he launched several development projects.

Ruto launched the construction of the Gamba-Kegogi road in the County.

The seven kilometre road will connect Kisii to Ahero at Oyugis and ease the movement of people and goods and services to the market.

The Head of State said the government will eliminate slow contractors and fast-track road construction in the region.

“I have had talks with your leaders and we have agreed that we will work together to complete all stalled projects so that we can change the face of Kisii and counties," Ruto said in March.
